As an 11kV Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed power system designs for projects ranging from LV-11kV. You will be required to work independently with minimal support from senior team members or the Design Manager. This includes assisting delivery teams to ensure that the design is implemented accurately and according to specifications, while applying your technical expertise to create efficient, safe, and reliable electrical designs, that meet project requirements and industry standards.
As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical equipment is commissioned according to industry, DNO, manufacturer, and regulatory standards. Your role is to confirm that all equipment is functional, safe for energisation, and ready for operational service before handing it over to the client. You will oversee the commissioning process within the scope of ESM Power’s agreed works, ensuring that all tasks are completed within the project’s timelines and budget.
The Fitter will deliver skilled High Voltage (HV) craft work for both Major Projects and Customer Networks. The role requires the timely and professional execution of all tasks, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) policies and procedures, while consistently maintaining high customer service standards.
The Principal Design Engineer will be responsible for communicating with customers, the Distribution Network Operator (DNO), and the construction team to ensure that the design approval process and the design construction process run smoothly. They will also be expected to assist the construction team in interpreting design plans and to conduct quality audits as necessary.
The HSQE Advisor will support the Head of HSQE in managing compliance within our organisation and support further development and implementation of HSQE policies and procedures.
The role involves a blend of field and office work, including conducting on-site inspections, audits, accident and incident investigations, and delivering safety training and briefings.
The successful candidate will also be required to compile detailed reports, attend site meetings, and develop new safety related procedures/safe systems of work to align with industry best practice and support business growth.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for the commercial management of contracts and resources, whilst delivering a profitable performance in line with business objectives.
You’ll be required to take responsibility for some of the company’s largest projects and will be accountable for the resolution of contractual and commercial issues.
You’ll also be required to provide support to project managers working on smaller projects in relation to contractual negotiations, procurement, financial and contractual management, and ensuring effective controls are used to provide a profitable outcome for the business.
As the Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for overall project execution and management of delivery teams (internal and external) for the Major Projects portfolio.
Ensuring that operational objectives and KPIs are met through efficient leadership of the Major Projects and Operations teams, whilst always keeping communication a top priority.
The postholder will also be responsible for developing their teams to ensure that delivery is consistently kept to a high standard.
An Electrical Qualification (HNC/HND minimum) is essential for this role.
